Time to move to Canada. LA Weekly has reported that the Nova Scotia Supreme Court recently ruled that a citizen’s local social services department must pay for her medical marijuana.

Canada’s health-care system provides its citizens with free or low-cost medical treatments and prescriptions. Sixty-one-year-old Sally Campbell’s doctor had prescribed medical marijuana to treat her medical condition. Her social services department had initially  refused to pay for her treatment, leading to the lawsuit. But now Canada’s high court has given Campbell the “green light.” Oh, Canada!
